Lupi-HCG 5000 i.u|1 Vials
Infertility treatments are important for women who have been trying to get pregnant, but are unsuccessful even after a year of attempting pregnancy. Today, there are several treatment options available to help deal with the issue of infertility.
Hcg or Human chorionic gonadotropin occurs naturally in the body when a woman becomes pregnant. A pregnancy test checks for the presence of human chorionic gonadotropin hormone in the urine. However, when there is any problem in conceiving, the doctor may recommend Hcg injections along with other hormones to help one get pregnant. The medicine contains the active ingredient chorionic gonadotropin. It is used for the treatment, prevention, control and improvement of the following conditions:
- Gonadotropin-releasing hormone deficiency
- When one or both testes fail to descend into the scrotum from the abdomen
Hcg is a polypeptide hormone that plays a crucial role in the development of eggs in the female ovaries and ensures that egg release during ovulation is adequately stimulated.
Hcg Side Effects
When you take Hcg injections to treat infertility, there is a risk of developing ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. Almost 25 percent of the women using the injection suffer from a mild form of the syndrome, but it generally ends after a week. As Hcg is a hormone related to conception, a woman might also experience problems with breasts when taking the injections. The breasts may feel painful or tender. There also might be swelling in the breasts.
Here are some other possible side effects that may happen from the ingredients of the medication. Contact your doctor if you feel any of the side effects:
